God Said No

Forwarded by Ongkar Singh

I asked God to take away my pride.
God said, No.
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, No.
Patience is a by product of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, No.
I give you blessings; Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.
God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to Me.

I asked God for all things that I might enjoy life.
God said, No.
I will give you life, so that you may enjoy all things.

I ask God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.
God said, Ahhhh, finally you have the idea.
If you love God, share love!

THIS DAY IS YOURS.
DON'T THROW IT AWAY.

To the world you might just be one person, but to one person you might be the world.

What a Wonderful Way to Explain Death

What a Wonderful Way to Explain Death

A sick man turned to his doctor, as he was preparing to leave the examination room and said,

"Doctor, I am afraid to die. Tell me what lies on the other side."

Very quietly, the doctor said, "I don't know."

"You don't know? You, a Christian man, do not know what is on the other side?"

The doctor was holding the handle of the door; on the other side came a sound of scratching and whining, and as he opened the door, a dog sprang into the room and leaped on him with an eager show of gladness.

Turning to the patient, the doctor said, "Did you notice my dog?

He's never been in this room before.

He didn't know what was inside.

He knew nothing except that his master was here, and when the door opened, he sprang in without fear.

I know little of what is on the other side of death, but I do know one thing.

I know my Master is there and that is enough."

Twenty-Six Thought-Provoking Remarks

Twenty-Six Thought-Provoking Remarks

1. Give God what is right and not what is left.

2. Man's way leads to a hopeless end but God's way leads to an endless hope.

3. A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.

4. He who kneels before God can stand before anyone.

5. In the sentence of life, the devil may be a comma but never let him be the period.

6. Do not put a question mark where God puts a period.

7. Visit a church for a face-lift if you are wrinkled with burden.

8. Do not give God instructions when praying, just report for duty.

9. Do not wait for six strong men to take you to church.

10. No need to change God's message because His message changes us.

11. The church is prayer-conditioned.

12. When God ordains, He sustains.

13. WARNING: Exposure to the Son may prevent burning.

14. Plan ahead because it was not raining when Noah built the ark.

15. Most people want to serve God, but only in an advisory position.

16. Brush up on your Bible if you are suffering from truth decay.

17. The best exercise is to walk with the Lord daily.

18. Never give the devil a ride because he will grab the steering wheel.

19. Nothing else ruins the truth like stretching it.

20. Compassion is difficult to give away because it keeps coming back.

21. He who angers you controls you.

22. Worry is a darkroom in which negatives can develop.

23. Give Satan an inch and he will be a ruler.

24. Be fishers of men, that is, you catch them and He will clean them.

25. God does not call the qualified, He qualifies the called.

26. Read the Bible because it will scare the hell out of you.

Love and Sorrow Felt by God's Creatures

Forwarded by RG Sayson

A female bird is injured and her condition is soon fatal. She was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road.

A male bird helped her, brought her food, and attended to her with love and compassion.

He brought her food again but was shocked to find her dead.

He tried to move her, a rarely-seen effort for such kind of birds.

Aware that she is dead and will never come back to him again, he cries with adoring love.

He stood beside her, saddened of her death. Finally, knowing she would never return to him, he stood beside her body with sadness and sorrow.

Millions of people cried after seeing these photos in America, Europe, Australia, and even India. The photographer sold these pictures for a nominal fee to the most famous newspaper in France. All copies of that edition were sold out on the day these pictures were published.

And many people think animals do not have brains or feelings? You have just witnessed love and sorrow felt by God's creatures. The Bible says God knows when a sparrow falls (Matthew 10:29). How much more He cares for us!
