The Cardboard Apartment by Chilean artist Don Lucho

The cardboard apartment was constructed by Chilean artist Don Lucho using recycled materials found on the street.

It features a full-scale kitchen, including pots and pans, as well as a toilet and a place to sleep.

The work was created by painting the cardboard white and colouring in details with a black marker. It was then all taped together to form the finished apartment.

The bedroom is so realistic it features dirty underwear on the floor and a wardrobe that gives new meaning to flat-pack furniture.

"This project tries to create a parody of the social reality of the South American dwelling," Don Lucho explains. "It's a reflection regarding the way of building and the small and frail spaces that are inhabited."
